遠藤綾子 Ayako ENDO
日々に輝く色を添えて
「心と暮らしの彩り」をテーマに、硝子や布地にフランス製の絵の具・ペベオを用いて絵付けし、艶のある色彩と光に包まれた作品を数多く生み出すグラスペイント・ファブリックペイント作家の遠藤綾子氏。
人々の心をときめかせ、使うことでその味わいをより引き出せるような作品を多数手がけ、注目を集めています。日本の四季や
自然の美しさ、一日の移ろいをテーマとし、手描きでしか表現できない筆の流れを大胆に描きだすことで、作品には優美で生き生きとした輝きがもたらされます。カリフォルニア・モントレーでの個展他、国内外への出品・受賞多数。現在は後進の育成にも力を注いでいます。
遠藤綾子プロフィール
江戸時代から続く新潟県の蔵元に生まれる。京都の美大卒業後、フランス製の絵の具「ペベオ」との出逢いをきっかけに、色鮮やかな絵付け作品を数多く生み出している。近年では新潟の伝統織物（亀田縞等）とのコラボレーション作品や、大人向けのウェディング作品が注目を集めている。・September25ArtStudio
・Ayako ENDOギャラリーページAyako ENDO, a glass and fabric painter who has created many works wrapped in glossy colors and
light using a French-made painting tool called the pebeo on glass and fabrics, based on the theme
“Colors of the Heart & Living”. She has produced many works that can better draw out the painting’
s appeal by making the hearts of people flutter, attracting a lot of attention with her style. Using the
four seasons and natural beauty of Japan and their changes throughout the day as a theme, she infuses
a refined and vibrant radiance into her works by her bold brush strokes which can only be expressed
in hand paintings. Besides solo exhibitions in Monterrey, California, she has also received many awards
for exhibiting her works in many places in Japan and overseas. Currently, she is putting efforts in the
nurturing of the next generation of painters as well.
Adding Bright Colors to Daily LifeProfile
Born in a brewery of Niigata Prefecture that
has been in business since the Edo Period.
After graduating from an art university in
Kyoto, inspired by her encounter with “pebeo”,
a painting tool made in France, she created
many brightly colored ceramics paintings. In
recent years, her collaborative works using the
traditional fabrics of Niigata (Kamedajima etc.)
and wedding works for adults have attracted
much attention.
